||BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, 8 March 2021 – Cloudscene, the world’s leading connectivity marketplace and market intelligence platform for buyers and sellers of network services, can reveal that female representation at the CEO level across the most influential service providers in the network industry, has risen just 2% since 2017. According to Cloudscene data, 7% of the top 100 service providers*, as ranked based on market intelligence sourced by the industry, have a female in the CEO position in 2021, compared to 5% as reported by Cloudscene in 2017.   Focusing on a broader global business perspective, just 8.2% (41) of women will lead Fortune 500 companies throughout the first quarter of 2021, an increase of 0.8% from 2020’s list whereby 37 females held this title, according to Fortune’s reports.
