According to Cloudscene data, 7% of the top 100 service providers*, as ranked based on market intelligence sourced by the industry, have a female in the CEO position in 2021, compared to 5% as reported by Cloudscene in 2017. Focusing on a broader global business perspective, just 8.2% (41) of women will lead Fortune 500 companies throughout the first quarter of 2021, an increase of 0.8% from 2020’s list whereby 37 females held this title, according to Fortune’s reports. This number is expected to rise to 15% by 2025, with 10% of CEO roles across Fortune 500 and S&P organizations being held by women of color.
