Business process improvement has been a top enterprise concern of late, and German software company SAP has heeded the call with Process Insights, a new process mining tool announced during last week’s Sapphire event.With Process Insights, SAP aims to help customers streamline their operations by reporting on the speed and efficiency of existing business processes before benchmarking them against 300 key performance indicators (KPIs) generated from aggregated SAP customer data. Our 8-Bit Orange is an homage to the era when our company’s founders first fell in love with technology, which at the time meant Atari, ColecoVision, Mario & Zelda, the Apple II, and the Oregon Trail. It is a reminder of the alpha, the first star in our technological constellation and the legacy from which we come.

Technology advisory and management as a vocation is a constantly evolving game that, like those early days, can be played but never mastered. Thinking back to those 8-bit origins, we maintain that sense of play in our work, despite constant challenges and the massive scale of solving problems for corporations.
